Gnome Ballers are gnomes found in the Tree Gnome Stronghold Gnome Ball pitch. While competing in Gnome Ball, the gnome ballers may try to tackle and take possession of the ball. The gnome ballers have a Tackle option which, when successful, knocks them to the ground and recovers possession of the ball.
The chance of getting successfully tackled by a gnome baller is dependent on a player's Agility level, but is not influenced by the colour of the uniform worn by a gnome baller. In contrast, the chance of tackling a gnome baller as a player depends on a number of factors, as described in the section below.
Between the gnomeballers are two Gnome wingers who wear a green outfit.
Success chance
The chance to successfully tackle a gnome baller scales with the player's Agility level, and depends on the colour of the gnome baller's outfit, and whether or not they are holding a gnomeball. When tackling a gnome baller with a red uniform, or when tackling a yellow or orange gnome baller while they are empty-handed, the chance to tackle them scales from a 12% chance at level 1 Agility, up to a 78% chance at level 99.[1]
However, if a yellow or orange gnome baller is currently in the possession of a gnomeball, the chance to tackle them instead scales from a 12% chance at level 1 Agility, up to a 86% success rate at level 99.
