The gilded portal nexus can be built in the portal nexus space of the portal nexus in a player-owned house. It requires 82 Construction to build and gives 2,600 experience when built. The player must have a hammer and a saw in their inventory to build it, meaning it can be built at 74 construction through the use of a crystal saw and a +5 spicy stew boost.

The gilded portal nexus can be directed to eight locations of a player's choosing, in which each destination directed requires 1,000 times the required runes for casting the teleport spell.
