Flying squirrels are squirrels that can be found in the Tlati Rainforest.

• According to Mod Jerv, flying squirrels were one of her late father's favourite animals. Whilst he was in hospice care, Jerv had requested Mod Skylark to create models for the NPC - not intending to add it as part of Varlamore: The Final Dawn - so she could show them to her father, who loved engaging with her in creative chats, such as how the model could be animated.^[1]
