The Dwarf is located in the dining hall of Lumbridge Castle during Recipe for Disaster. The player must inspect the dwarf to start the Freeing the Mountain Dwarf subquest. To start the subquest the completion of the Fishing contest quest is required.

To finish the subquest, a dwarven rock cake must be used on the dwarf.
