Dark Memories is a grandmaster combat achievement which requires the player to kill the Whisperer whilst spending less than six seconds in the Shadow Realm prior to her enrage phase.
Strategy
The player must spend the bare minimum amount of time within the Shadow Realm:
- Shadow Leeches - The player can guess which corrupted seed without having to ever step foot inside the Shadow Realm. Stepping on the wrong seed will deal moderate damage, but the pattern can be easily determined after one mistake. Alternatively, the player can step on every corrupted seed while rapidly eating high healing food as stepping on the wrong seed does not drain sanity.
- Soul Siphon - The mechanic can be safely ignored; however, players will take 40 damage and lose 40% sanity in the process.
- Screech - Quickly observe the health of the pillars and then immediately leave, since trying to blindly guess the solution to this mechanic can be particularly dangerous.
