The Crandor map is a quest item used only in Dragon Slayer I. It is made by using any two pieces on each other when all three map parts are in the inventory.

It is given to Ned so he can sail the player to Crandor.

The drop trick can be used to obtain a second map to keep. When picking up a map piece, drop it and then pick up another. In the case of Wormbrain, you will need to kill him twice and use telegrab to get two of his map pieces. (Worldhopping will allow for killing him twice quickly.)

To assemble the maps, drop one set of map pieces and assemble the other. Then drop the completed map, pick up the first set of map pieces, and assemble them. Then you can safely pick up the other completed map.

Ned will take all maps in inventory, so when speaking to Ned, drop one map and allow him to take the other. Then you can safely pick up the other map and bank it before boarding the Lady Lumbridge and continuing the quest. Do not speak to Ned again with the second map in your inventory.
