Traps are located within the Ruins of Tapoyauik which can deal up to 10 hitpoints to the player if not disabled. During The Heart of Darkness, players must disable the traps by maneouvring around the traps and pulling the north-west and north-east levers after sliding past the icy ledge, as well as pulling the lever before reaching the gate.
