Thordur is a dwarf who is located inside the Blackhole. Players need a disk of returning to reach him. He tells players that he used to run a business letting people inside his blackhole, and that he eventually retired and chose to stay in the blackhole. He states that the blackhole was originally a prison "bad people" were sent to, referencing the original purpose of the blackhole in RuneScape Classic.

He played an important role in the 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 Midsummer events, as players were required to go to him each day to receive a hint as to what item is required to complete the Guthixian ritual each day.

A sign near where the player exits to in the Dwarven Mine can be read to see how many players have visited Thordur on that world.

• Upon the introduction of the Black Hole experience, Thordur stated that he wasn't well suited for his job, and wouldn't enjoy the mind numbing boredom in the Blackhole. As such, it can be considered rather strange that Thordur decided to live in Blackhole "because it's more peaceful".
