The Silver Cog is a dwarven mining company established primarily in the bustling city of Keldagrim, the capital of the Dwarven Realm. The Silver Cog is a member of the Consortium, a collection of eight mining companies responsible for governing the city and its economy.
During The Giant Dwarf quest, the player can choose to help this company by gathering materials, primarily ores and bars, for its head secretary. After which, the player can do some tasks for the director. The director will then let the player join the company as a member, so that they can choose him to have a stone head of his image carved onto the giant statue that is in the middle of Keldagrim.
In Forgettable Tale..., if the player joined the company, they must ask the director to order the removal of boards blocking a railway tunnel that leads to the Red Axe base.
