Small boats were found south of Draynor Village during the 2014 April Fools event. They could be sailed as part of the Sailing skill, which would show a short cutscene of the player visiting a small island and talking to a random NPC.
The small boat requried level 1 Sailing and granted 100 experience per use. With higher levels, the player could use the nearby long boats and wide boats. During the event it was only possible to gain at most 5,000 total Sailing experience, after which the skill would reset to level 1 with 0 experience.
