The PvM Arena is a player versus monster activity added for the PvM Cup of the 2015 Clan Cup.

Only a very small number of accounts were given permissions by Jagex allowing them to access the arena. Although the event ended in January 2016, these permissions were not removed. The activity can still be played today if two accounts with permissions enter the lobby; they and anyone in their clan who is present will be able to play the game.

The Arena can be accessed via the Clan Cup portal in the upstairs of the building north of Edgeville bank.

This will take players to a lobby area. However, the game will only start if there are at least two accounts with the permissions to start the game.

Two teams are placed in their own arenas and compete to kill as many bosses as possible during a set time limit of 60 minutes. If players die during the game, they respawn next to the Clan Cup portal and cannot rejoin the current game. At the end, the winner is whichever team killed the most bosses during that time, or survived the longest.

An older version of the PvM Arena was present during the 2014 Clan Cup. This version of the arena was located in a more natural looking cave, with a section of water in the bottom left corner allowing for the Kraken boss to be placed naturally within it.^[1] The natural shape of the arena allowed for players to get the bosses stuck against the edges of the arena and safespot them, which is why the current iteration of the arena was made completely square to prevent this.^[2]

Rather than having a separate arena for each team, both teams were placed in the same arena and directly competed to get the kills on bosses, with the team that dealt the most damage to a boss getting a point, with the clan that had the most points at the end of the one hour time limit being the victor. It featured the same bosses as the current iteration, as well as Vet'ion, the Thermonuclear smoke devil, and the Kraken. Although there is no surviving video footage of the gameplay, it is believed to have otherwise functionally mechanically similar to the current iteration.^[3]

• The PvM Arena versions of Callisto and Venenatis were not changed with the 2023 Wilderness Boss Rework, and still retain their original appearances and behaviours.
• Both the 2014 and 2015 PvM Cup were won by Stud Unit. This can be seen on the Clan Cup Trophy at the Giants' Plateau.
