Magnus Rimor

Magnus Rimor was Phileas Rimor's ancestor[1] and a captain in the Shayzien Army.[2] He led a reportedly failed[3][4] expedition to Mount Quidamortem that was ordered by King Shayzien VII[5] over 1,000 years ago.[6] However, the expedition was actually a success, but the expedition team was imprisoned and/or killed to cover it up.

In the story The Man In The Tower, it is revealed that Magnus was imprisoned in the Tower of Magic and guarded by the lizardman Eek C'ho. He eventually opens up to Eek, who gets him a journal to write in. After a few months, Magnus asks Eek to get the warnings he wrote in the journal outside to the rest of Kourend, because "they have to know". However the Yo'kal ahk, otherwise known as Xamphur, took the journal from Eek, thanking them for getting Magnus to talk. Magnus is presumably killed after this.
