The grape barrel is obtained by speaking to the vineyard foreman. It is used to collect four sets of grapes from ripe grapevines found in the vineyards located on Aldarin. A grapevine can be determined to be ripe if it sparkles/shines, and only one set of grapes can be obtained per ripe grapevine.

Returning to the vineyard foreman with a full grape barrel rewards the player with 5 noted grapes.
