The Criminal's thread is a quest item that is found at the murder scene during the Murder Mystery quest. It is used again during King's Ransom. It is used to help identify the murderer in the Murder Mystery Quest.

Note: the colour of the thread is different for each person who does Murder Mystery. It can either be red, green, or blue.
