The charter ship is a world entity that perpetually sails along a fixed path. Aboard each ship are four trader crewmembers, with the mustachioed man in black at the helm. The charter ship arrests the movement of players' boats if they sail into it, though it can sail through players' boats. This effect also applies to Sailing NPCs, including trawling shoals.
On its route the ship passes by several aggressive monsters, through fetid waters, and through crystal-flecked waters, but none slow it down or have any effect.
Routes
There are two charter ships, each with their own route.
Ship #1
Ship #1 sails a loop in the Rimmington Strait without ever stopping.
Ship #2
Ship #2 makes eight stops on its circuit, pausing for a few seconds before continuing on to the next leg:
- Port Khazard
- Corsair Cove
- Port Tyras
- Port Piscarilius
- Port Tyras again
- Corsair Cove again
- Port Khazard again
- Summer Shore
