The cave monk is a Saradominist monk who can be found outside of Entrana Dungeon. His only purpose is to warn players of the dangers below the island, which include zombies and greater demons, inability to use prayers, and inability to exit through the ladder back to the surface. To exit the dungeon, players must use teleportation or the magic door inside the dungeon which teleports them to high-levelled Wilderness.

The cave monk and Entrana Dungeon are involved in two quests, Lost City and Recipe for Disaster. In both, players are required to get branches off of the Dramen tree.

• The monk will say you are unarmed even if you have a weapon equipped.
