Two buckets can be found in the village of Witchaven as elements of non-interactive scenery. One is located on the 1st floor of the southernmost house, while the other stands just outside of Lovecraft's Tackle, the fishing store. The examine text of the two buckets state that they are used as a container for night soil, which is a euphemism historically used to refer to excrement. As such, the buckets may function as makeshift toilets for the fishing hamlet.
