The tarnished Belle's folly is the broken version of Belle's folly, dropped exclusively by the Shellbane Gryphon. Players with 70 Smithing and completion of the quest Sleeping Giants can repair the blade at the polishing wheel in the Giants' Foundry; boosts can be used. Repairing the blade grants the player 500 Smithing experience.

Trivia
- This weapon was originally named the "tarnished rapier", but the name and appearance were changed after feedback that its attack speed did not match that of other rapiers in the game.
- Inspecting the tarnished weapon will suggest using the Giants' Foundry polishing wheel to fix it, even if the player has not started Sleeping Giants and has not discovered the Giants' Foundry.
