The bat wing is a quest item in the Rag and Bone Man II quest on the Odd Old Man's wish list. It is put into a pot of vinegar which is boiled to make a polished bat wing to deliver to the Odd Old Man.

It is only dropped by bats after starting the quest and before handing in the polished version to the Odd Old Man.
