They Won't Expect This is an elite combat achievement which requires the player to in the Theatre of Blood: Entry Mode, enter the Pestilent Bloat room from the opposite side.
Strategy
This combat task is as easy as it sounds. You just need to enter the arena on the opposite side from where you enter.
You do not need to finish the raid to complete the combat task. Therefore, if you just leave the raid after entering the arena you can greatly simplify your setup and inventory by just using your best range gear to quickly defeat the maiden, who is always the first boss you will encounter and not bothering to fight the Pestilent Bloat. Useful if you just need 3 combat points to achieve the next combat achievement.
However, it is worth attempting to fight the Pestilent Bloat and try to complete the Appropriate Tools and Chally Time combat tasks by bringing some melee gear and a suitable halberd. (See Theatre of Blood/Strategies for suggest setups you can adapt.)
Completing these 3 fairly easy tasks will reward 12 combat task points and help you on to the next combat achievement reward.
