A tentacle pool can be built in the Floor space of the Oubliette in a player-owned house, requiring 71 Construction and yielding 326 experience. The player must use a hammer and a saw to build it.
When challenge mode is on in the Dungeon, players who fall in the dungeon will be attacked by a tentacle-like creature, and it can inflict from 0-4 hitpoints damage. It cannot be attacked back. If challenge mode is not on, however, the player will just 'swim' in the pool.
