A Sunstone core can be crafted through the Crafting skill at level 60 by using a chisel on a sunstone, granting 10 Crafting Experience.
Sunstone cores are used in the Golem crafting minigame together with a Hunter fur to complete and activate a golem, requiring 1 sunstone core and 1 fur per golem.
During the quest Fallen From Grace, one sunstone core is required to power the broken golem blocking the entrance to the underground portion of the Ardeaglais cathedral.
