Summer Games Done Quick 2024 was a week-long speedrunning charity marathon that took place during the summer of 2024. It ran from June 30th to July 7th, and on July 3rd featured Old School RuneScape as one of the marathon games.

The speedrun was a solo run Chambers of Xeric Challenge Mode by A Cold One, which he completed with a time of 29:35. Preceding the run there was a donation competition to select which boots would be used during the run, with the mole slippers winning with a total of $3,666.00 in donations over the fancy boots at $2,644.85.

The run took place on the event-only World 400, to ensure that the runner could have no technical issues due to player count on the world. While the world was online, it could be seen in the server list with the activity of "GDQ".

As the run began, an in-game message was broadcast to all online players that read AColdOne is speedrunning Cox CM over on Summer Games Done Quick! Watch it here. Clicking the message would open the stream of the event.
