Jas

Jas is an ancient and enigmatic deity responsible for the creation of the Stone of Jas, which has played a significant role in the history of Gielinor, most notably as a central cause of the God Wars. Jas magically bound the Dragonkin to the stone, forcing them to unwillingly operate as a defence mechanism against anyone who attempts to wield its power.

• Jas and the Stone are mentioned by Melzar in Melzar's notes.
• The Chaos Elemental in the Postbag from the Hedge also mentions the name Jas, albeit with no details.

• In RuneScape 3, Jas was the oldest of the Elder Gods. She created many powerful artefacts aside from the Stone of Jas, potentially including the Staff of Armadyl.
