General Bonehelm was the last of the Dorgeshuun tribe generals. He was the leader of the tribe until they voted to become a republic, but he refused to give up his power, resulting in a civil war between the military and republican factions. The military tribe was driven out of the city, and dug out a base in the nearby caves. His army attacked Dorgesh-Kaan again, but was again driven out. However, the mining had weakened the stone around the base, and the footsteps of the retreating army caused the tunnels to collapse on them, crushing the entire army.
