Food trough is a part of the Clock Tower quest, and is located in Clock Tower Dungeon, inside the room with dungeon rats.

During the quest, in order to obtain the white cog, the player has to put rat poison inside the food trough. After doing so, the rats inside the room will eat from the trough and die, after which the player will find the gate guarding the white cog unhinged.
