Ent trails are enchanted patches of foliage found in Varlamore, left behind by a passing Ent. They can be opened by stepping on them. When players step on two different flowers in the same trail, they will receive the following message: You feel closer to the ent! It will leave you more offerings during its next totem visit. The associated Ent will have butterflies flying around it and mushrooms growing on it as a visual indicator that it has bonuses to give.

This mechanic awards a bonus 15% Fletching experience on the building and carving process of the next totem during Vale Totems.

In addition, this mechanic doubles the reward offerings received the next time the Ent visits a totem, provided the totem is built and decorated. Players must leverage the bonus within the next three Totem sites visited by the Ent. If no totem is present at all three sites, the Ent will lose its bonus. Only one set of Ent trail flowers can be active at a time for an Ent. However, multiple Ents can be activated at the same time.
