The Dwarf MultiCannon is used during Between a Rock... where Dondakan attempts to use regular cannonballs to crack open a rock that seems to be impervious to any material stricken to it. Before the quest, the cannon will shoot repeatedly with regular cannonballs into the impervious rock. However, golden cannonballs seem to be effective and will shoot through the rock. Dondakan will then ask the player to launch themself into Dondakan's mine with a gold helmet into the rock and will regrettably get inside the cannon.

After completing the 'Between a Rock...' quest, the 'Fire' option on Dondakan's cannon will now fire you back into his rock, allowing you skip his dialogue. You'll still need your Gold Helmet for safety reasons. |
