The Combat Tests are two unused non-player characters. The standard variant originally appeared as a man, with the name suggesting that the Combat Test was added several months beforehand in order to test the mechanics of the Combat dummy.

The combat stats of the dummy is 500 magic and 50,000 Hitpoints. This results in the combat level 12,743.

More than two years later, the Combat Test was updated to become identical to the Combat dummy. A second variant called Combat Test (maxhit) was added that is identical to the Undead combat dummy, with the option to switch between them both.

Trivia

  • Both the characters have combat levels of 12,743. This makes them by far the strongest monsters in the Old School RuneScape game files.
