Chocolate chunks were used in the 2013 Easter event. They could be obtained by smashing chocolate kebbits and were given to the Easter Bunny for part of the reward. To smash them, the player used the Easter eggs on it by bowling them.

They are non-tradeable and may not be banked - if a player attempts to deposit some in a bank, the message "A magical force prevents you from banking this item!" appears in the chat window.

After the event ended, all chocolate chunks turned into chocolate dust.

• Players could attempt to use chocolate chunks in place of various food recipes that required chocolate bars or chocolate dust (such as milk, cakes, and some gnome foods), which would result in the messages The chocolate kebbit chunks will spoil [the milk/the cake/the crunchies/Chocolate Bomb].
  • Attempting to create an energy potion with chocolate chunks instead of chocolate dust would give the message You are unsure of what chocolate kebbit chunks will do to the potion.
