The bookcase is located on the east side of the centre bookcases in the library of Varrock Palace. The bookcase is used during the quest Shield of Arrav to obtain a book detailing the history of the Shield of Arrav. It is distinguishable from the other shelves in the library, due having a blue book with a white cross on the top shelf.
