Awowogei is located in the dinning hall of Lumbridge Castle during Recipe for Disaster. The player must inspect him to start the Freeing King Awowogei subquest. To start the subquest the player is required to have level 70 Cooking, level 48 Agility, and the following quests must have been completed: The Grand Tree, Tree Gnome Village, and Monkey Madness I.

To finish the subquest, a stuffed snake must be used on King Awowogei.
