Aviansie (race)

The Aviansie are a race of avian humanoids mostly known for their worship of Armadyl during the Second Age and their involvement in the God Wars on the side of Armadyl during the Third Age.[1] During the God Wars, aviansie were tasked with guarding Armadyl's artefacts, such as the Staff of Armadyl, from enemy control. They were also the creators and protectors of the Godsword.[2] However, the aviansie were unable to stop the theft of the staff and the rise of Zamorak to godhood after he banished Zaros.

The aviansie were believed to have become extinct at some point after the God Wars.[2] However, after the previously frozen God Wars Dungeon was thawed, many combatants of the God Wars were revived, including the aviansie. The God Wars Dungeon is now the only known place left in Gielinor where aviansie can be found.

Kree'arra, one of the few remaining aviansie and general of Armadyl.

  • The names of the race comes from avis, which is Latin for "bird".
