Avernic catalyst

The Avernic catalyst was a scrapped item that was pitched as a reward from the Doom of Mokhaiotl. The catalyst was to be used to combine the primordial boots, pegasian boots, and eternal boots together to create the avernic treads.

Player concerns quickly arose about the requirement of pegasian boots, as ranger boots were much harder to acquire compared to dragon boots and infinity boots respectively. On 11 March 2025, the catalyst was scrapped in favour of Osto-Ayak dropping the treads in a useable state, with the player being able to upgrade the treads with primordial/pegasian/eternal boots.
