A dark disposition is a quest reward for completing The Ascent of Arceuus.

It is used on Kharedst's memoirs to allow teleportation to Arceuus. If lost before being added to Kharedst's memoirs, a replacement can be claimed from Lord Trobin Arceuus in the upper level of the Tower of Magic.

After completing the quest A Kingdom Divided, a replacement can be claimed from Lord Trobin's son, Asteros Arceuus, on the 1^st floor of Kourend Castle. Note that Asteros will only give it to the player after talking to him twice.

Using Kharedst's memoirs after adding this page to it on Alyssa results in unique dialogue, revealing that she is the handmaid named Alyssa in the story.
