The weeping wall is part of the Tears of Guthix minigame, which can be played after the Tears of Guthix quest is completed. During the minigame, players have a set amount of time to collect as many blue tears from the weeping wall as possible; the amount of blue tears collected at the end will be multiplied by an amount ranging from 10 to 60, and you will then receive that amount of experience in your lowest skill.

Collecting tears from a wall where blue tears are flowing will increase the amount of tears collected, where as walls with green tears will decrease the amount of tears collected.

The colour of the tears changes regularly, and when the wall changes, players will not automatically stop collecting tears from the wall. To prevent accidentally collecting green tears, players are advised to stop collecting when the colour is about to change by either clicking another blue tear stream, or simply clicking the centre of the room.
