Olaf was an unused non-player character present in the RuneScape 2 beta. He would have appeared in the original version of The Fremennik Trials, then known as "A Viking Quest". Presumably, he would have assigned one of the trials needed to gain admission to the council.
The NPC is very unfinished, lacking any chathead or options. He used a placeholder appearance also used by Thorvald.
The NPC was deleted before the end of the beta. In the final version of The Fremennik Trials released in November 2004, he was replaced by Olaf the Bard.
