The crude boat is found south-east of Rantz cave during the Recipe for Disaster sub-quest Freeing Skrach Uglogwee, after the player has used their axe twice on the tree kicked over by Rantz. After completion of the quest, it is replaced with the ogre boat, which the player can use to travel between Karamja and the Feldip Hills.
