Brundt was an unused non-player character present in the RuneScape 2 beta. He would have appeared in the original version of The Fremennik Trials, then known as "A Viking Quest". Presumably, he would have been the chieftain of the viking town.
The NPC is very unfinished, lacking any chathead or options.
The NPC was deleted before the end of the beta. In the final version of The Fremennik Trials released in November 2004, he was superseded by Brundt the Chieftain.
