The ascension crossbows are a proposed reward from The Fractured Archive, Old School RuneScape's upcoming fourth raid. They would have a faster attack speed than regular crossbows, firing a bolt up to every two ticks on rapid mode.

As proposed, the ascension crossbow would only be able to fire special "ascension bolts", with less Ranged Strength bonus than regular bolts and fewer options for gem tips.
