Spirit offerings is an interactable scenery object located across the Auburn Valley. Items can be used on it to offer them in exchange for prayer points; 5, 10, 15, or 20 prayer points are restored depends on the item, and the item is consumed in the process. Players are given a warning before offering the item that they won't get it back, and more expensive items get an additional warning on top of that to prevent accidental sacrifices.

The exact factors that determine how many prayer points are given for an item is currently unknown. However, it appears to be at least partially dependent on the value/price of the item. For example, items such as an abyssal whip or amulet of fury will restore 20 prayer when offered, whereas items like the grand seed pod and sarachnis cudgel restore 15 prayer points.

Not all items can be offered to the shrine. Almost all items with destroy options (or equivalent options, such as the release option on salamanders) cannot be offered, though there are some exceptions, such as the locator orb. Additionally, coins and Old school bonds also cannot be offered to the shrine.
