Small fishing net is scenery that is used to provide item spawns of small fishing nets. It has the appearance of an item including an orange name and red dot on the minimap, but unlike real item spawns, it does not disappear after being picked up.

Most item spawns for small fishing nets use this scenery instead of actual items. This was added to allow ironmen to obtain the item from spawns, which had otherwise been blocked to prevent an exploit involving net traps enabling ironmen to obtain the item from other players.
