Shelves can be found on southern wall of the farmhouse at Groats' farm. Players can search the shelves to obtain a copy of The Groats Principles, which players must take to Cassius during The Ides of Milk quest.

• Searching the shelf before learning about the book or while already having it in the inventory displays one of the following messages: You find a bucket on the shelf, as you'd expect a farmer to have., You find a loose egg on the shelf, and fortunately avoid knocking it to the floor., orHidden behind the piles of junk on the shelf, you find a small farmer's hat with Gillie's name written on it., with the latter being much rarer than the first two.
