Sand is a piece of interactable scenery. Players are able to fill up buckets with the sand, making buckets of sand. Due to the distance from the bank, collecting buckets of sand from sand piles is inefficient and not suggested over using available sand pits. Using the sand's "Look" option will give the player a message telling them how large the pile is, such as This looks like a large pile of sand.

Buckets cannot be filled with sand on free-to-play worlds.
