The rusted anvil or Lumbridge anvil is a special anvil located in Lumbridge that can only be used to smith bronze items. The rusted anvil is identified with an anvil icon on the minimap and world map.

The rusted anvil can be used to smith bronze items by either left-clicking on the anvil, right-clicking on the anvil and selecting the smith option, or by using a bronze bar on the anvil. Using the rusted anvil requires a hammer to be in the player's inventory. When using the rusted anvil, a selection screen will come up that looks similar to that of a normal anvil, with the option to smith only bronze items.

Attempting to use a metal other than bronze on the anvil yields the message You can only use bronze bars to smith on this anvil., while selecting the 'smith' option without any bronze bars instead gives You need a bronze bar to smith equipment on this anvil..

There is no competition for the anvil, since multiple players can use one concurrently.
