This guide assumes that each trip takes 25 seconds. Your profits may be higher or lower depending on your speed.
The Ring of the elements combined with the use of the Plank sack and Log basket enables players to produce planks at maximum efficiency. Each plank requires one mahogany log and 1500 coins, with each trip taking approximately 25 seconds and creating 48 planks.
Your inventory should consist of your cash stack, a bank teleport, the Plank sack and Log basket, while having a charged Ring of the elements equipped. Withdraw 24 mahogany logs, deposit them in the basket, then withdraw another 24 mahogany logs from the bank. Teleport to the Earth Altar with the Ring of the elements, select "Buy-Plank" from the nearby sawmill operator, then "Buy All" underneath the mahogany logs. Deposit the planks in the plank sack, then withdraw logs from the log basket and convert them into planks using the sawmill operator. Teleport back to a bank, deposit the planks from both your plank sack and your inventory, then repeat the process. Sip a stamina potion as needed in order to restore run energy.
