Medieval is a music track that can be unlocked inside Varrock city walls, excluding the Grand Exchange. It also plays in the Phoenix Gang Hideout and in the basement of the Blue Moon Inn. In this area, the music player will also shuffle between playing Adventure, Garden, and Spirit.
In Classic mode, this track plays east of Varrock and the hint referred to "near the Varrock East guarded area".
Analysis
This track uses a harpsichord playing waltz triplets in a slow, droning manner. The flute and oboe quickly come in and share a melodic part, and are then replaced briefly by a harp. It is somewhat of a slow, walking-tempo song. Also, the keyboard is slightly used in parts of the song as well as slight notions of guitar strums.
