Machinery is a scenery object on the east side of Deepfin Point. It appears to be a type of powered conveyor belt, attended by two dwarves, leading up from the surrounding ocean. A series of mine cart tracks lead up to it. There is a small section of ocean below it surrounded in buoys, which when examined give the warning Danger - Only authorised personnel past this point.
Considering the presence of dwarves wearing diving helmets, it is likely that the machinery is used to bring up ore mined from the sea floor.
