Koriff the Crowd Pleaser was the former hostess of the Duel Arena. Part of the Calamity Coven, she, along with Saika and Maoma, played a part in the staining the reputation of the once glorious Duel Arena, turning it into an immensely corrupt place where they used their positions to accumulate vast amounts of ill-gotten wealth.[1][2]
As the hostess of the arena, she used her grace and charm to whip up excitement amongst the crowd, causing them to bet higher and riskier, so that she and her accomplices could increase their profits.[3] She would even often bet against certain competitors and secretly kill them off with her sniping skills to gain a profit.[4] In addition, she'd pamper rich visitors and provided them with the best seats and service, all while collaborating with hired thieves to pick their pockets.[5]
Eventually, the Emir caught wind of the illicit activity in the Duel Arena, and the Calamity Coven were forced to leave, though their eventual fate remains unknown.
