Happy children were found throughout the eastern part of Varrock during the 2015 Christmas event. Players had to give them an anti-present in order to collect their tears into a vial, after which they would be renamed to Crying child.

Afterwards, they had to be made happy again by giving them a present. It was only required to do this to four children during the event.
